The request to transform this stone desert into a green city garden was received with open arms. There was not much more here than a lot of concrete tiles and plastic decking boards. And after taking these out, two more layers of paving were hidden underneath.
In addition to nectar-rich plants, the garden was also given a fig tree, an apple tree, and a grapevine.
Half of the concrete tiles were reused as edging, a low wall and seating bench.
The garden has 4 seating areas. In various sizes and for every moment of the day.
